RADHA KRISHNA

ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna temple was inaugurated in the year 1997. It is not just a temple, but a cultural complex housing the temples dedicated to the Deities of Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Sri Krishna Balarama, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Srinivasa Govinda, Sri Prahlada Narasimha, Bhakta Hanuman, Garudadeva and Srila Prabhupada, Founder Acharya of ISKCON. ISKCON Bangalore is a charitable society with the objective of propagating Krishna Consciousness all over the world, as explained by Srila Prabhupada, whose teachings are based on Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.

ISKCON Bangalore A wonderful dravidian architecture with a fusion of the western architecture which has also used glass for all the 4 sides of the Temple. This place gives you the vibrant feeling that I am bowing to the lotus feet and I am surrendering myself. The wonderful place is spread over which will start from the gate, then the Kalyani which is so beautiful like the Pushkarani at the Tirupati. We then have 108 footstep station in which we can chant and the cleansing of mind starts with the Hare Krishna Chanting. The first Darshana was of Lord Prahlada Narasimha Swami who protected his devotee Prahlada. The man-lion avatar of Lord Vishnu, who rescues Prahlada by slaying his father. The Second Darshan was of Lord Sri Srinivasa Govinda the Lord Venkateshwara is also know as Srinivasa. From there we went to the main temple which is the art of lotus in the light as well the place was full of lord Krishna’s life special movement’s .

There was a group of people performing the Sri Krishna sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated and extinguishes the fire of conditional life. After the Darshan of Lord Brotherhood Sri Krishna BalaRama and the love of life Sri Radha Krishna Chandra was full filling the heart. Had all the time for my communication with the Lord Radha Krishna. The feeling was getting blessed.

Prasadam Distribution

Food distribution is considered to be the supreme of all charities. Srila Prabhupada wanted everyone to taste the nectar of devotion. The food that is offered to Krishna is considered the divine nectar that can alleviate our suffering by freeing us from sins. Srila Prabhupada insisted that everyone who visits the temple must get some prasadam. We have been distributing kichadi prasadam to every visitor since the inception of the temple and in the year 2015 we have also started the Nitya Annadana program which provides sumptuous lunch prasadam to visitors every day from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.

The ISKCON Temple in Bangalore is highly praised for its excellent architecture and spectacular city views. Visitors describe the temple as peaceful, spiritual, and well-maintained, offering a sense of calmness and good vibes. The prasadam after darshan is delicious, although some mention commercial aspects post-darshan. Janmastami is highlighted as a special day to visit when Lord Krishna's birth is celebrated. The temple offers a variety of sweets but at slightly higher costs. Many visitors feel rejuvenated by the energy of the place, especially admiring the gold statues of Sreekrishna and Radha illuminated beautifully at night. Overall, it's considered a must-visit place in Bangalore with hygienic conditions, good management, stunning views from the top during sunset, various deities to worship like Radha Krishna and Tirupati Balaji.

BHAJANA SECTION

The bhajans in this section are sung every day at all ISKCON temples. The temple program begins before dawn with Mangala Arati at 4:15 a.m. with devotees singing Guruvashtaka: Prayers to the Guru. The daily program ends with Shayana Arati, where devotees sing a song glorifying the divine couple, Sri Radha Krishna to engage them in Their service.
